I have missed sub games since the last one I played was the first SH. Still playing tutorial so I am just checking it out.

I think it could be brilliant, expecially since it runs in a browser.

I still play SH3 once in a while. Things get "interesting" about the 1943 / 44 time frame.

True and it is only in beta right now. Tankers and freighters seem to be a lot tougher took 6 torps to sink a tanker lol I actually hit a tnaker went back to port, went back to the convoy and finished off the tanker, with the last 2 torps I had in depot(you have to buy more and you can upgrade to more powerful)

If they get it to where a sub can go against a manned surface vessel they may have something. I haven't seen anyone break this, live people in subs against live people in surface ships. Complete with thermo layers, depth charges, active, in active sonar. And then the next phase aircraft.

Here's the best source of community mods:  http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/index.php  (if ever you get it running well).

 :salute

My step grandson has a very old laptop and is trying to run SH3 on it. It will barely run, very jerky. I showed him a couple things on the game and now he seems to be hooked. I am considering a gift of a newer laptop for the kids to use.

I like it so far. It is not perfect but it is beta. They should make a game called somali pirates online.
