Psh.

When I think "iconic," I think:

Landshark
Eddie Murphy as Buckwheat
Two Wild And Crazy Guys
Pat
Toonces the Driving Cat
Matt Foley
The Coneheads
Stewart Smalley
Wayne's World
The Superfans

Oh, and for one-off skits, who can forget Samurai Deli?

THAT'S iconic.

I think the 1977/78 cast was, collectively, the best there was.

Dan Aykroyd
John Belushi
Chevy Chase
Jane Curtain
Garrett Morris
Bill Murray
Laraine Newman
Gilda Radner

Toss in the occasional feature player or hosts, Hugh Hefner, Charles Grodin, Kevin Nealon, Al Franken, and Steve Martin, and that season was one of the best ever.

The late-80s/early-90s cast was REALLY good, too.

Dennis Miller
Kevin Nealon (my favorite Weekend Update anchor, no offense to Dennis Miller or Chevy Chase)
Phil Hartman
Mike Meyers
Dana Carvey
Chris Farley
David Spade

Fred Garvin, Male Prostitute.
Mrs. Potter: What is all that stuff?

Fred Garvin: Oh, uh.. that's my rather elaborate network of trusses. I will need your help with a couple of these. I got the old hernia truss here.. and I got a spleen truss, it opens up with a couple of snaps here in the back..

Mrs. Potter: No, I don't think so.. you know, I.. I.. I think this is a little too much for me, I, uh..

Fred Garvin: No, no.. it's just a couple of snaps in the back. You know, you just gotta make sure you don't touch the rupture, that's all..

Some of my Favorites.

The very First airing of the Debbie Downer Skit with Lindsay Lohan
http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/debbie-downer/n11825

Single Ladies Skit with Beyonce and Justin Timberlake. JT is probably one of my favorite guest hosts for the show. I dont think there has ever been a boring show with him on it.

I've been trying to find one of these skits online with no luck. It is from Nov of 2012. It is the opening skit with Jay Pharoah playing Obama and Bill Hader playing the Chinese President. They are holding a joint press conference and the Chinese President is going on about debt.

If anyone knows of a link to this skit and could post it that would be awesome!
