Nah, I disagree. The only map that truly is horrible is Minandao. It is horrible in most ways.

It's a small two-sided map not meant for the main arenas...use it or not. Why complain about it? What don't you like about it? Anything you do like about it? What kind of map would not suck for you? Maybe you want a terrain that looks like a broken eggshell, with deep narrow canyons? You want bases closer together (or farther apart)? More bases? Less bases? Two sides? Three sides? Water?
If you are willing to describe what things you'd like to see, maybe someone (or you yourself) can create a decent terrain.

I like many of the maps... but when this map is up, I find my enjoyment of the game is much less... why? Because I find myself spending more time on climbout, and more times ending up chasing folks into Vbase ack.... stuck in a canyon with less room to avoid the pickers... I'm sure it is great fro GV folks... and I have done some GVing on this map... but generally speaking I find that the dogfighting part of the game suffers on this map!

Ok, I guess we're talking about two different maps then. I thought you were talking about the small map (truely a small map) called "Canyon". Spawn a custom arena and load "Canyon" to see what I thought you were talking about. This map is not on any MA rotation.

Make our own map for this game we pay to play?! That's an awesome idea :x
I'll worry about winterizing my home and automobiles some other time. While I'm at it it'll quit my job and become a student in the art of map making. My kid wants me to help him put end links on his truck but I'll see if someone else's dad can do that for him. My other son needs some help with his homework but a D grade will get him by. My wife a a long day at work and doesn't want to make supper. I would make supper for the family but I need to get this damned map made. They can eat Pop Tarts tonight.
But it's all good. Because when my house falls down around my ears and the wife and kids leave me in the one last car that would start, I can glow in the satisfaction that I make free maps for AcesHigh!

Being a new guy around these parts and this being my first time flying with this map, I must say that I really enjoy it. The canyons give low level bombs good cover to sneak in and out of an area very quickly. It adds another dimension to the game I feel :aok
Then again, I am just a noob lol.

They do have a lot of good maps and I still have my favorites, but after you see the same ones month in a month out year after year they begin to get boring and uninteresting. It's always the same old fights over the same old bases.

Then stop doing the same old thing in the same old plane. Take a plane you don't fly a lot, use some imagination and do something different with it. HTC provides several sandboxes, it's up to us to use our imaginations and use them in different ways.

My favoritte map! Yes needs some gvs spawn adjustments; I didn't see it for months, yesterday morning got reset 2 min after I joined the game. This reset system keeps boring large maps 90% of the time,would be nice to see it increased to 35% for small maps and reduced to 15% for large .

Of all the maps that suck, AH decides to delete Trinity....a flawed but great map.... :headscratch:
