Granted, I am older and my eyes are a bit wonky, but I have trouble spotting planes against the background of the water or the ground, especially from a dead six position. Any way to adjust settings to compensate for this?
-
You could always try increasing the gamma, it'll brighten it up a bit
-
reduce screen resolution and anti-aliasing, both these settings when high act to soften the dots of long range planes and the sillouette against the terrain
do you recall what reolution you are using?
-
Anti-aliasing is at none, resolution is 1680 x 1050.

Just to be sure I run the game with the in-game AA settings at 0 but my video card is set much higher with "overide application settings" selected so you might want to verify both.

Issue of SIZE was my concern a little while back. I had a 2500 dollar computer monitor however it was a quarter of the size of my tv. My tv is 10 years old but has a HD hookup on it. One day i said mabey the monitor is not the issue it is the over all picture that is my issue. Hooked the computer to the tv and i could sit 3-5 feet away from the tv and see everything just luke i did when i had to have the computer monitor inches from my face..... It was the tv that made everything visable not my resiolution.
If you can test it out try hooking the comp up too a tv sir.
