Then it's quite fitting he meets his end flying into the fantail of the carrier.

Guys, help me out... there was a movie, I forgot the name of it...
About an allied spy guys, and the instructor... finally, the instructor goes in for a mission, and gets caught and brought to a German HQ, he is just about to be interrogated, tied to a chair, when he and the Nazi guy both hear the sound of diving bomberplane engines... The instructor guy starts laughing... see, I think he had knowledge of when and where abouts of the D-day invasion.
What's the name of this movie please?

Could be '633 Squadron'. But you won't like that one Franz, it depicts brave allied heros fighting the evil Nazis.

Could be Hannover Street. With Christopher Plummer and Harrison Ford. Great film although above statement also applies to this film :old:

13 Rue Madeleine and it was Jimmy Cagney doing his mad "I'll see you all in Hell" laugh as he knew the bombers were there to kill him and the Gestapo HQ. He was dropped into France to coordinate D-Day with the Resistance.
Great flick but it was made in 1947.
