We do. It's just in the last few years we've been getting ripped off :aok
I get excited as much now as I did as a kid :rofl
Only difference is my years.
We get the best "real" storms (unlike lake effect).
A storm that brews in the South and becomes a Nor'Easter on the coast :aok
 Oz

You guys WANT snow?

Why not you nancy?
-
yeah back we havent had a lot of snow where I am since 2010, we had almost 4' in the woods, made for awesome riding :aok
-
We get something called sierra cement. :lol
-
They are calling for it here tomorrow night into Tuesday Morning! And we also had some back in October, but it hardly stuck around. More snow in the higher elevations.
-
Snow showers here today
Won't amount to much more than a dusting.
It sure is nice to see though.
Hope we get a storm or two for the records this year.
We are way past due :aok
 Oz

You live in the wrong place for hating snow. About 3 inches this morning at home, more ice than snow at work. Our new Jeep Compass handled it better than I expected since we didn't get the 4WD option. I hope it sticks around for tomorrow so I can test the new tires on the Jag.

You live in the wrong place for hating snow.
Even worse: Was born in Geauga county (S. Hamden) before moving to Mentor as a child, but it was before I could really develop a disdain for the weather ;)
-
I'll stick to the west side thank you. I like snow, but not like you get it over there. :O
-
We got about two inches here. Wet snow, but it didn't stick to roads.
-
Snow sux. :old:
-
Snow in Charlotte cracks me up. If they get an inch it's Snowmagedon! The great thing is
everyone stays home so the roads aren't full of people who have no idea how to drive in it.
Which is very strange considering how many refugees from the northeast and midwest move down
here to get away from the weather :D

When it snows down south it usually makes the news.
I always tune in to watch the southern version of bumper cars :lol
-
In southern states some don't have all-season radials and city's usually don't have snow plow trucks at the ready. Sitting out the snow and icy conditions isn't a bad idea. The Sun usually comes out the next day and melts the roads and walkways.

The news this morning said that yesterday was a new record snowfall amount for Nov 12 here. A whole 3 inches & traffic at a standstill.
