Title: Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals heel brake
Post by: -error on November 09, 2013, 05:33:16 AM
Hello.

I have a little problem with left toe brake axis on my pedals. If I release it gently axis readings does not go to zero but instead stays on 1/10 or 1/5 of full range.
Therefore I would like do disassemble it to check if pot is OK and seated properly. But I was not able to do this!

I removed pedal itself, removed little screw that hold tubular cover made of aluminium. And that it. I can't remove that cover. And there is no more screws to screw up :-)

Has someone disassembled this type of pedals? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

One thing you might try before you void your warranty is a calibration in Windows and in game to see if that will fix it.another thing to try is unplug and replug the pedals.

I did this many times. And issue still there no matter what I do.
I don't think that it is because of improper calibration. It is more like loose pot that goes to 0 only if pedal depressed in brisk manner.
