Try removing the following files in the games 'settings' folder.

radio.cfg
radioset.cfg
roomrect.cfg
winsize.cfg

Rename the "settings" folder to see if that will correct it.  By the way, I am assuming you are talking about the message window in the game.  The window where all text shows up.

yup talking about the message window. trying to figure out the settings on my monitor see if that is the problem.  as I can move the clipboard almost out of the screen.

The game does not allow the clipboard to be moved off the screen.  It sounds like the screen resolution is not matching the video resolution, which is possible for some monitors, depending on the configuration.

skuzzy i figured out that it's not the extended text  that dissapeared but the regular text is not actually showing up.  I have messed around with settings on monitor and video card but I cant figure this one out other than connecting all 3 monitors back and moving the text to center screen as it was on my right screen.

edit removing the settings folder does bring it back.  I have my stick buttong set to global: window message size and that is the only one I can see.

semp I Have been considering getting a monitor having a 2560x1440 resolution.  The monitor that I was considering was a Dell Ultrasharp 27 monitor U2713M.   Customer reviews on this monitor revealed that a displayport cable  was required to get the 1440 resolution.  The monitor shipped with a HDMI cable with a maximum resolution of 1920x1080.  To get higher resolution the customer had to go out and purchase a displayport cable (whatever that is).  Maybe this is your problem.  Hope this helps   :salute wizer

Odd, removing the files I listed should have reset the clipboard and text windows back to default locations based on the existing monitor arrangement.

There is also a DVI-D port for full resolution.

yeah the monitor i got was this one

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236294

it came with all cables but hdmi wont give you 2560x1440 on some video cards.  using dvi-d but you cannot just use any you gotta use the one that comes with the monitor for some reason.  it gave me wrong cable error something about double dvi-d cable needed when trying to use my existing dvi-d.

the problem is not really the resolution as I am using 2560x1440.  think the problem is a setting within aces high that for some reason I need to reset.  gonna try the good old add one setting at a time.  skuzzy would you mind telling me which file has the login info? please

The game offers all the resolutions the video card will give us.  We have no control over those values in the list.

The login information is contained in the "settings" folder in the "login.cfg" file.

skuzzy i just deleted all the files again except for winsize.cfg  I cant find that one.  one more thing is that even after deleting all the other 3 files I still see  all my prior "chanel" on the text window.
