Title: This week in the AVA--Operation Nishi gawa

Operation Nishiki gawa

the Japanese are progressing well in the Solomons late
in the war. while the American/allied forces use all their might,
the Japanese still manage to hold them off. more modern aircraft are
being introduced by both sides and battle are furious to maintain
captured bases and keep possession of what both sides have managed
to capture.

this is a what if setup. not your classic setup.
beware of large carrier groups with extra CA's,
flak is deadly.

Sounds like fun! Will the AI be present as well?

There are some in there now but only the Knight AI seem to be working for some reason don't have time to re build it.

Yesterday when I entered AvA

1. P-38G was perked...
2. F4U-1C wasn't...

Looks like a mistake.

Also if you put AI figher formations please... don't let them fly as "V" formation" especially without icons...

I tried to intercept two formation of bombers in my F4U until I had seen a drone breaking left and I realized that I  got into a swarm of Zekes with only slight altitude advantage and without any speed advantage (was climbing after them)... Not fun at all  :(

Running the AI patrols or any mission can unexpectedly change the setup. The AI were supposed to be set for schwarm formation or finger four on allies. Don't know how they got in V.

Anyway the Japanese side is set for patrol and the allied side set for attack. Patrol should be a little less aggressive.
