I know there is another thread or two, but a search pulled up nothing. :headscratch:
Just curious the thoughts of the rest of you WD fans on the show/series. This is one of the few tv series I've ever watched religiously. I'm really enjoying it, good stuff.
I'm actually pulling for the gov to "see the light" and become a good guy. I don't see him and Rick's group ever being buddy buddy, but I could see them working or at least existing in a symbiotic sense, or at least in peace. We will see. This was a great episode, it really showed the human side of the gov. I liked the character development. Good stuff!

I watched it and thought they handled the "post massacre" time pretty well. Given the way he was acting at the beginning of the episode I'm a little suprised how he managed to survive.
One thing they didn't tie up was the little cameo bit when they showed him outside the prison the week before. I am a little confused. Was that suposed to be before the long hair beard time or after? If it was after, it presages him returning to the group interaction, perhaps to safeguard his new "family".

As silly as this is gonna sound.....My 13yrold daughter LOVES this show, and Monday at the dinner table we always get the blow by blow as to what happened (I heard her mention last night that "The Govenor" was back and how excited she was....I cant watch it.....just gives me the creeps. Im a 6ft 230lb man, and im creeped out by something my 90lb 13yrold girl likes........Talk about roll reversal, whos the 13yrold girl? :headscratch: :rofl

on the "Talking Dead", David Morrissey (actor who portrays the gov) said that the part when the gov was standing in front of the prison , iirc, was after the massacre, after his two lieutenants left him, but before he went and torched Woodbury and went wondering about. The host of the Talking Dead and the comic that was there both said that was confusing to them as well.

I absolutely love the walking dead, its a great show - although they have a tendency to focus to much on the characters and not the zombies, surprisingly this season they are switching back to the zombies.
I have a feeling that drunken Medic is going to be a serious problem this season.

The Governor met up with a 2 women and 1 little girl. He helped save them multiple times and finally won the little girl over towards the end. He is now a sweat hart.

Good luck with the reformed act when samurai sista finds him.
He be dead as fried chicken when Michonne catches up to him. And Maggie, and Glenn, AND Darryl.

I almost thing that the gov will die a heroic death while trying to save the little girl from a 3rd party, as in the "hunters". In that same story line the gov will also save Ricks group too.

Very possible.
I actually expect that at some point the Gov. will have an opportunity to get revenge on Ricks and the gang, but only if he sacrifices the little girl. He will choose to save the girl and sacrifice himself instead.
OR...
At some point, something that Rick's group does will be the cause of the little girl's death, sending the Gov back into a spiral of rage and vengeance. Eventually culminating in a final show down with Michonne which results in their mutual destruction of each other.

I think he'll fall right back in to his old ways using the girl as a replacement for his.

This. They mentioned it a little in Talking Dead, there's a "switch" that gets turned off at times. Leading to events like the massacre. It is only a matter of time.
