Title: Skin inquiry

I was told something about no advertising on skins so I have delayed any further RV-8 Skins for AHXARL until I'm clear on what is allowed and is not. Obviously i assume store name brands such as Red Bull, Monster Energy, Budweiser, etc etc wont be allowed but what about Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines etc etc?

I'm not sure about the legality issue of advertising the Crickets. I'm not sure if it's Mrs. Holly that owns the rights (and she has been known to be a bulldog about it) or someone else. I wouldn't be surprised if the various branches of the armed forced also have licensing rights now. They are selling merchandise (or licensing rights to those that are). Dale makes a profit, that may fall into licensing.

You cannot use names or emblems which are copyrighted, or trademarked, or anything that could be construed as representative of any product or service, without permission from the owner of said copyright.

This is a matter of law.
