Thank you C-HAWK squad for an excellent escort tonight. Stayed with us the whole way, alerted us constantly once the enemy started attacking to where the attack was coming from, drove off those that made it in to us, and didnt get suckered away from us by enemy fighters. Real nice work!

The bombers were attacked by many fighters after the drop, according to the film there were in excess of 25 separate attacks by mostly 190D9s. I counted about 4 the gunners killed, we shot up a bunch. It was alot of fun!
