I spent some time putting together a little PDF that might help some people with bombing some of the little tips that I had to learn the hard way or that I picked up over my time bombing with some of the more experienced people. Some of my squad mates wanted me to throw this together for all of us to have as reference and also to help some of our newer members. I hope it is useful to some of you. Just follow the link to our Squad Page, then under Training is the link to the PDF "Bomber Training, Tips and Tactics"

Excellent write up. Thank you for the time you put into this and sharing it.

See, this is the kind of stuff that should be easily accessible from the home page for new players. As it is it will soon become obscure.
Nice and clear. I did not know about the need to recalibrate above 14k. One thing that I have noticed is that it seems as though if I am close to top speed and I calibrate the calibration speed is higher than my speed. I often have to chop throttle to get slowed down so I can recalibrate at a speed that I can quickly reach by adding back in the throttle.
One thing I do (though it won't work too good with squad formations I bet) is after a first drop I put my nose down to accelerate and when I have enough separation from the target pull up to recapture altitude and slow down for the turn back to the target and then dive again to get up to calibration airspeed, then recalibrate altitude.

Excellent :aok

I'm glad you guys like it, it did take some time to put together but the fact that I know it's helped some people out and I know it's helped my squadies makes it well worth while. Thanks for the comments too it's good to hear some feedback.
I did pass on the link to a bunch of the trainers so maybe one of them may save the PDF and possibly even add it to their page just so we have a backup copy somewhere. If anyone wants a copy feel free to take it and post on your sites if you want or link to it. If you have any problems let me know I can email it to you.

Don't want this to get lost in the mix, Hope it has helped some of you out.

Does hitting "Tab" when aiming at an enemy air con from buff gunner position, does the convergences of all aircraft synchronize on the selected target? :headscratch:

No.
The guns of a formation converge at a fixed point at 500yds.

Ok, thx, that's what I assumed. But what then does "tabbing" an enemy con do in buffs? I noticed the box around the "target" player but how does that help my poor gunners?
-
Thought I would pull this out again in case any of the newer bomber guys would like to have a look since its kinda gotten lost.
Enjoy...
