Title: It's over
Post by: Lusche on December 15, 2013, 07:16:37 PM
It's over. I'm busted.

Know everybody knows I use shades to boost my score, for everybody knows that's totally impossible to track & find bombers by looking at a darbar wandering across several sectors to the only probable target. And of course it's also impossible that them going through a friendly CV dar could have helped me finally locating the second set (after shooting down the first set OVER my base) before running out of fuel patrolling back & forth SE A98

Dear advanced shade hunter, of course you were totally right in bailing from your Lancs before I could close in for combat. After all, who would like to give kills to someone claiming to be able to see darbars? That's almost as laughable as players claiming a flashing town alerting them of an enemy attack!   :old:

I also salute your deductive reasoning by proving I was using shades, because I called the Lancs "rook" - no way I guess that correctly when I saw the darbar upping from a rook base and a Bish buff set would had to fly more that 10 sectors through enemy (mostly rook) territory just to attack a (for them) remote Knight base under attack by rooks.

I'm already afraid of the next exposure... probably being accused of using WEP for additional speed, or pretending to use the ".dt twn" command to check if our coastal bases are perhaps under attack by CV task group gunfire...  :uhoh

But then, I will be banned first.. after all, you "got several films". In the name of the AH community, I beg you to turn them in so I get the punishment I deserve (http://www.smileyvault.com/albums/stock/smiley-fighting0056.gif)

Snailman's only advantages are.....patience, cunning, being able to use deductive reasoning to predict where an attack will occur, and simply being better.

Saturday, I kept track of dar bars that took deep in enemy territory as they headed toward bish strats and announced on country that they will cross into our territory in 1 hour with the second wave arriving 30 minutes after them.

I announced it again giving 30 minute warning.

30 minutes later"   Surprise!....."why are bombers at 30,000 feet headed to strats"....."how come nobody warned us"

That's par for the course but I did notice that another set came from the opposite country which did not generate dar bars on the way to strats and suddenly our strats were flashing and I find 6 lancs above 25,000 feet bombing bishop strats.

Also saw a couple of strat raiders (who did generate dar bars) who crossed a dar that filled an entire sector, flashed the base, yet did not generate a dot.

How does one do "combat" with lancs?

Many possible ways to answer that... but let me put it this way... Lancs have shot down my fighters 215 times in the (LW)MA so far...  ;)

So a Squad name makes you all knowing and truthfull now?

My favorite whine was years ago when "Snailman" in a 109K shot down someone's B-24's heading to a Strat Factory, I laughed and said "he probably cheats". Said person went on and on ranting about Snailman for a good hour.
This was maybe 6-8 years ago? anyhow I was in a fighter, said player wanted an escort - I was off to do my own hunting and declined when this rant went on.

I can't remember the exact person who ranted, it was a buff pilot from the Thunder Eggs - apparently he was at 15k and Snailman was at 20k waiting.

Pure comedy on country channel for a good hour about "cheating in games". Wish I was famous as that Snail guy, in 5 years I switch countries almost routinely - I got maybe one or two "SPY!!" comments, nothing juicy like this.

And now I see other members of that same Squad whining about the Snailman just because the CO was made to look silly.

But they again taught me a valuable lesson: Shooting the pilot of a 30k B-17 is abusing an exploit! Shame on me once more! (http://www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/fighting/face-slap.gif)

I enjoy (or dread) meeting a High alt snail otw to strats.   After all it's a long boring ride and I prefer to go down fighting.  :airplane:

It's easy to figure out where bombers are when their dar breaks into the next sector or certain strats start flashing.

I never understood why people bail in bombers. Generally I either die in a couple passes or lose important things, doesn't seem to matter what angle I come in from.  :uhoh

Yes, yes its true.  I also have also been outed.

My version:  I see a base flashing in the middle of nowhere.  Jump in the tower and see a P47 deacking town.  Up and turn with him a couple times and he extends deeper into our territory when he really hadn't lost the advantage.  Hmmm, dragging me away?  I guess "yes" so I fly on the deck towards the nearest enemy airfield (no veh spawn so they couldn't use an M3) and find the C47.

Their version:  No one could have unraveled their elaborate combination of strategy, planning and tactics without a second account.  No one ever zooms their map out and takes a look around to see whats going on when a base is flashing.

To add to Aspen, I remember when we had the island map - the vGuys were obviously doing some horde missions to win the map, first taking two rook fields for 20%. As a Knight I pulled my inter snailman out and said "I wonder where they are going next....hmm" If you look at the island map, A23? I think it was was already under attack by the Bish, A24 was unguarded - so I took off in a Chog and my plan was to climb to 14k - however I spotted a Goon trying to land, so I called out NOE - quite a few knights upped and I climbed out towards the nearest bish field (A45?)

I see a Goon trying to land, I guess it must be cheating! I spotted the massive horde of Vguys - take a wild guess what they do when me and 2 other knights start diving on the Lancs? Yep! Bailed out, all 20+ of them.

Reading Dar and trying to anticipate enermy Movements... crazy.

Its almost like this mission I took to pork ords at a base I thought would be used to launch another horde after the last one took a base.

Guess what I found...

Lusche, you were doing that horrible thing, shooting them down with a pilot kill shot. How dare you cheat like that?

Oddly enough, the same rook squad that was complaining was using their own shade account on the knight side while they were taking knight bases. Irony? Maybe not, but they don't like the truth being pointed out to them.

Snailman would not be banned for using the map to study dar bars or using Wep when needed heck we all do but none of us are as good as making Pie charts as Snailman is for stats related to the game. So Snailman as a Budwieser Commercial Real Men of Freedom,,, Keep using those Maps to see the Dar, Using th eWep when you see it fit to be used and Keep Chasing those Bailing Buff's before or after they Drop.

for that We Salute you Mr Snailman

sorry for poor example of where I comming from but if ya add Lucshe and studying maps this would fit in a bit

funny thing about uneducated idiots trying to insult each other.  males have estrogen hormones just like females have testosterone hormones.  with all the purse fighting going around in the bb's you would think that would be obvious to everybody.

Yes I am aware that oestrogennis present un.males itnis howeber primarily a female hormone, and I would hardly suggest  what I posted was anything like a response to a purse fight. Whilst the prodominance of your contributions to the forum are exactly what you describe. Bringing it somewhat back on topic:

Yesterday I couldn't help myself to notice this cute little conversation on Knigth country channel. Both players are AH vets of many years, one a "big leader of men" even.

No way the enemy could have located a 20k Lanc raid slowly creeping towards a very small front line. Everybody knows that NOE is up to 25k!  :old:

well not sure if you insinuating that a guy has mostly estrogen means a put down, considering that some of the best pilots in the game are female.  on average the female player in this game has a better skill than the average male.

edit: funny thing is that I have yet to see a female pilot get into a purse fight but the males in the game keep on throwing theirs.  wouldnt it be more of a putdown to call you a male pilot?
