My microphone is only allowing me to speak for 2 secs at most in game.
I have tried both USB and normal microphone, I speak and 2 secs later nothing.
It works fine in Ventrillo.
I have set the microphone in game and assigned a new button for it.
I put a usb Turntable on my PC other day and deleted all the software after problem occurred.
Any ideas would be apreciated :)

Is it a possible conflict with another running voice app? Have you tried turning the other app off?
Could be a bad key map if you are using button activation. Even a bad key/game board key. It may be a conflicting key map, as in the key you have mapped for VOIP has also been mapped for another action.

AH vox has a built in limitation for range talk duration. Its only a few seconds. Did you measure it being exactly 2 seconds?
-
Yes it lasts for two secs.
In vent there is no problem
-
AH Range vox does have a time limit on it, but I thought it is longer than 2 sec. I thought it was something like 4 sec.
-
Maybe it can't handle the awesomeness of Zack's mellifluous voice.
-
Zack did you check the audio section on the clipboard to see if the microphone got reassigned?
-
zack1234 has failed to provide the necessary pie sacrifice to the AH Gawds, that's why his vox doesn't work well in AH.
ack-ack

I had to delete some gibberish from my Directory :rofl
NCH software had molested something :rofl
I have a sneaking suspicion my graphics card does not like game mode on my TV as well, i have a USB headset and TV into card.
I love you Nuke :)

Gaming through TV is going to be problematic as I previously have said. The computer hdmi is not fully compatible with the version the TV has. This often leads to weird problems with the display not syncing to native resolution etc.
-
And maybe vox :)
-
I heard if you stick the microphone up your arse it should work fine. :D
-
Homophobe!
:rofl

It sounds like you might have major problems. :bolt:
Now on to your computer issue:
I know you can count to 4, proof is in your name. That's the limit in seconds for vox in channel and range.
Are you running sound through your GPU or Motherboard? What is your Mobo/CPU/GPU setup? Have you tried a Windows directory utility like Advanced System Care? (these cant help or hurt) In my experience this works well for less sophisticated users, that just want the darn thing to work right, but can take resources if running in background. However, it does have a "Gaming" mode, even the free version.
My suggestion with out knowing answers to this would be to try plugging in your headphones/mic inito a Mobo specific location... for sure on the front of box.
