Title: ICQ, altavista, Netscape, AW, WB
Post by: FLOOB on January 01, 2014, 02:10:22 AM
What do these things have in common? They're all older than this year's high school graduates. That's right, we've been wasting our life at this for an adult life time. Matter of fact I still have my analog Nokia cell phone from 1996. I literally have a cell phone that's older than them.

I have a lot of things older than them. As far as what they all have in common, internet connection required? I was tardy to the party on flight sims compared to others here heh.

They all were ground breaking internet technologies...

And they all are dead (or almost dead)

They're all older than the class of 2014. It was a rhetorical question.

ICQ was awesome at the time. I barely remember my number, its 133 something.

I also had one of these back when dial up boards were the thing to do

My HP 11C calculator thinks young people are really stupid for not knowing how to do things they've never seen or needed done before.
