Title: Tank Fight in the AVA---Thursday night January 9, at 9pm EST

Thursday night tank fight. this week we will be having a Eastern front tank fight. the terrain will be the AVAtankz terrain. it is a summer terrain. so summer skins would apply. No aircraft other then the storch will be available. this is strictly a tank fight.

I am going to start keeping score. a capture is a win.

objective:
Axis: capture base 4
Allies: capture base 7

Sounds like a great fight .. I like the fact there are no tigers and the sides are pretty well matched up .

while the axis had the upper hand most of the night both with tanks and numbers, the allies fought relentlessly and beat the axis dogs into submission. the fearless allies upped and immediately ran to base 7 where as the axis laid in wait trying to pick us off. due to our tactical advantage and fearless attitude, we were always able to out maneuver them and out flank them. while they gave us a good fight, they were never able to get within range of out base.

We all had a great time in there. we tweaked the setup a bit and good some good comments and some good idea's. thanks to everyone that participated. WWhiskey, Etec, pattonlg, FBFrogg just to name a few. USranger tweaked the flamejob in the terrain and as you can see from the picture above its pretty awesome.

check us next week for our weekly tank series and feel free to make suggestions as to what tanks to use or what kind of setup you'd like to see. we will be using our NEW AVAeto terrain next week. tank battles will only be at particular bases again. Stay tuned and bring a friend or 2.
