Found this recently: http://www.merriam-webster.com/spell-it/index.htm (http://www.merriam-webster.com/spell-it/index.htm). Tells something about what's been considered important to learn during my school years: Two times out of three I got all 15, on the third I got a couple of misses while listening to my wife talking to the neighbour.

all 15 correct, 4060 score. :)

3160, with one error... a word which I misspell very often :bhead

This is much more fun after a few drinks! :D
Somehow got all the harder words correct, and everything else wrong for 1260 points!

That's fast typing! Not to mention perfect spelling skills. :salute I tried to do my best after a litre of beer, 3660 points of all 15 words. Lusche, you're quite a fast typist, too, with that many points including one error. :salute
A side note: To tie is synonymous to to bind, isn't it? The tongue is used to speak words, spelling is a way to explain how words are built. But: "Tongue tied" is a person suffering from difficulties in producing speech. "Spellbound" doesn't mean the person would be unable to spell correctly. :headscratch:
