Title: Which card?

I'm considering a new video card and would like information from those who know what system resources the game uses. First my system specs:
MSI Z77A-G45 Thunderbolt mobo
Intel core i7 3770K oc'ed to 4ghz
8 gigs Corsair Vengance ram
Corsair Force 120 gb Sata 3 6 gb SSD
Gigabyte Geforce GTX 660 Ti 3 gb video card
Since the mobo uses a creative sound chip, I use that

Would a Radeon R9 290, ot the new GF GTX 780 Ti make any difference in game play from hat I'm using now?

For AH not necessarily but for other games it will make a big difference.

Skuzzy, the proposal still stands, hehe.  Thanks for the info. Question is, would you consider one of the two over the other?
 My preference is heading to the R9 290 over the Geforce card, because of the price vs benefit ratio, but I'm understanding that the Radeon cards run pretty hot.
