When you use the .accept command to accept a join request, the player is accepted and joins successfully but the accept window does not go away. If you click accept in the window it tells you player has already joined and then you have to click ok to get that window to go away.
-
While it could be something they hadn't tested for and maybe could fix, I think the join/accept functionality was meant to either be used with the popup window (and clicking the buttons) OR used with the text buffer (and typing .accept), but not a combination of both.
-
Are u saying that if the requestor used the dot join command, the accept window will go away after dot accept is used?
-
Regardless of how the requestor sends the request (right-click on roster to join, or .join command), it's how your frontend is set to show the notice. I think the default is pop-up window, but you can change that to show in the text buffer instead. If the window pops up on your screen, you have to click a button as I doubt typing the .accept command will close the window.
I believe that if you move the window somewhere on your screen before clicking any of the buttons, the position will be remembered for subsequent requests.

So I can change how the accept window is presented so it is in text window? How do you do that?
-
There should be a button on that popup, something like "use text" to set it to go to the text buffer. Otherwise, you could also set it by typing .showjoin 0 in the buffer. Either way, it should remember the setting after that.

I will try that. Thanks!
