I'm always looking for that one thing I don't have. What is your favorite even if you only use it once a year?
And go.....

I have a very large wok. I use it to make metric tons of fried rice... :rock

2 12in cast iron frying pans, one has raised ridges and both go from stove top to broiler depending what I am cooking. I don't grill in the winter since I hate the cold so if I have a hankering for something that use to walk upright on hooves, I toss the ridged one in the broiler and get that sucker hot, then drop the meat on it. The other pan I use mostly for bacon and eggs, something about the taste cooking in cast iron starts my day off right.
-
I bake more so things like a bread machine and the every faithful pizza pans and screen.
A good weight scale for sure.
-
I have 3 well seasoned cast iron pans (12,10,8) that I use weekly, plus a dutch oven I am currently working on after over-heating it in a camp fire. Just picked up 3 6" oval boats to go with the fajita pan.
The bread machine is my wife's baby, I don't touch it but she makes bread at least once a week. Pizza pans or stones? I've got 2 rounds and 2 rectangular stoneware trays from Pampered Chef that work great for biscuits, cookies, etc.

My perfect for small kitchens Weber Grill :) best electric grill i have ever had.

I showed my wife this post... She Dutch Oven'd me in retaliation. :uhoh

In the past I've lived for great lengths of time with nothing but a deep frying pan/skillet with lid. 14" diameter by 2 or 3" deep is enough to make all sorts of good stuff. I've never been a fan of cast iron so I use heavy duty Teflon coated pans and replace them as soon as they show signs of starting to flake or scratch, and I'm careful to not overheat them.

I have a really nice set of knives that make it a pleasure to chop, dice, etc.
My pampered chef big arse BBQ spatula with integrated beer bottle opener is awesome.

A smoker.
Have used a bullet charcoal for years but recently upgraded (last Feb) to a Camp Chef propane smoker.
OMG, what a difference!

crock pot slow cooker. Little effort turns into a tasty hot dinner ready when I get home at the end of the day. BBQ grill is a close second.

I'm still using my converted 55 gal drum for outside smoking, would love to get a Camp Chef when I burn through mine. :aok
Last night I smoked a slab of beef in my stovetop smoker, 45 min over an Apple/Cherry mix and it comes out more tender than crock pot and without that dreaded "slow cooked in liquid" nasty taste.
4 lb Chuck Roast beaten both sides with pointy side of meat tenderizer
Salt, pepper and a good splash of whiskey (I used some Black Velvet I received as a gift)
Medium high burner 45 min or until 170 degrees. Let it rest in smoker for 15, then serve.

Now if we are going to talk barbeque, then have my wood burner I built, a charcoal grill I made out of a subway car air tank and a new pit I burn wood from my orchard to grill chicken and ribs. Then I have another device I used just for smoked chicken.
I just pruned my apple trees so a good chicken run will happen in the spring.
-
The good ole fish cooker. Ain't nothing like getting that grease hot and frying some fish, a turkey, or even some duck or deer nuggets! I'm from the South, so I just love deep frying stuff lol!!

Right now? This:

But I love my charcoal grill. Gas is convenient, but you just can't beat the feeling of hauling out the charcoal, cleaning the grill, and that first burger in the spring.

Pffft, I've stood out in the snow, sleet, and freezing rain to grill a few burgers! My patience for good food is nonexistent. MUST HAVE NOW!!!

I've got a .188 wall 65 ksi smoker that I had built at my last job. I freaking love the thing. Second is a huge lobster pot.

This I don't have. Sometimes it would be nice to plug one in outside on the deck and let it go. Hmmmm. Thanks.

I agree. One of my best meals was chicken quarters cooked over a wood fire in one of those 2 wheeled roll around fire pits with the perf metal sides. Threw a grate across the top and covered with lid to keep the sleet/rain/snow downpour off the food. My wife got a picture of me standing next to it wearing a Maid of the Mist raincoat holding a beer in one hand and tongs in the other. Was funny as hell.

So your favorite cooking equipment is using your hands to cook your food over a heat source? You described food, seasoning, and heat. That isn't equipment. Maybe you tie it to your bum and sit on the stove? That's an interesting favorite piece of cooking equipment, your backside. Or your hands... whatever :devil

Now you've done gone and salted his arse and put him on the hot seat. This will not end well. :uhoh

what about the one who mentioned his wife does it mean he only eats..... on second thought that isn't a bad choice.
