Interesting, I didn't realize the professor on Gilligan's Island used to be a navigator on B-24's.

Ok that picture, definitely in front of a B-25 right? Friend of mine was thinking it was a B-17, but I kindof chuckled at that, B-17 was a tail dragger with no front nose gear.
Profile seems to short for a B-24, plus the fuselage sits off the ground much higher than a B-25.

Wow the prof. Is flipping off the camera.
42nd bombardment gp. Was B25s.

I didn't know B-25's were made out of coconuts and bamboo.....

Not to mention B24's didn't do low level or strafing missions?

You should read what the Navy did with PB4y-1 and PB4Y-2 aircraft. Little things like a single aircraft low level attack on Truk. <G>

I should read more, period. :bolt:

If I were the professor on gilligan's island there are two things I would have done.
I would always have smelled of Ginger.
And I would have glued bark over the damn hole in the boat.
