Instant "Host connection lost"
Every other arena is fine.
Running Win7. Have added exception for ports 2000-7000 UDP and TCP to firewall. Have also tried turning off the firewall, no effect. However, it was working fine last night.

Typically, when I see this it is usually related to a router needing to be power cycled, or Norton or McAfee is installed on then computer.

Further PD: Connection graph is a flat line at 135ms with 0% packet loss. Neither Norton nor McAfee have ever been let anywhere near this PC, it's always run AVG.
Will bounce the router and re-test.
And....damn Skuzzy! It's Sunday morning in Texas and you're picking up support posts?! :-) good lad.

Router bounced. No effect.
Can still connect fine to all other arenas though.....

Alright, let's try a blunt force approach.
Rename the "settings" folder in the game installation folder and see if that fixes it.
If not, the try removing the accept rules from your firewall and introduce them again.

I leave the game for 5 years, come back and get instant tech support first thing on a sunday morning. Anyone who thinks HTCs support is slow.....is just plain wrong. <fanboy flag waving>

If I had to guess, I'd say a file or files got marked as "read only" by Win7, or were otherwise corrupted and the game could not update them when you tried connecting to those arenas. Possibly, since it was specific arenas, it might be the file used to track the "current terrain".

If you still have that old "settings" folder, I would really like to get my hands on it.
