Really a 190A-6, this aircraft was delivered to First Gruppe, Jg54 in late 1943. Period photos shows Maj. Walter Nowotny at the controls, but I doubt that this aircraft was flown in combat by him. Nowotny was well know to not use the outboard cannons on his 190s, but photos show that the aircraft sports four Mg 151/20. What makes this 190 unique is the fact that it retained the standard day fighter scheme of RLM 74/75/76. Which was unusual for Jg54, who usually repainted aircraft in a combination of greens and browns paints.
