LAnding on CV31 with 109K4
After landing goes backwards:
Without brakes
Sidways
Also when on reload spot prop keeps spinning due to cv speed?
Skuz, have this on film if you like.

When you land on the CV, make sure that your throttle is completely cut to 0% to prevent moving backwards.
ack-ack

I wanted to go backwards. I moved SIDEWAYS towards the twin 5" guns....
Going backwards without brakes on? Also new to me....

Turning CV?
Now, when it comes to 're-spotting' planes on the CV deck, going backwards has nothing to do with brakes. Brakes are for stopping. A touch of throttle will move
the A/C backwards (no more than a little). Be sure to use your rear view and rudder. The rudder will help adjust right or left. If you don't want to move then make
sure your throttle is at 0 (or, better yet, kill your engine). G'luck! :D  :salute
P.S. I don't see this as a 'bug report' issue, imo, since it involves using the 109 in a manner that it wasn't designed for in game.

Pretty sure only the storch should be windmilling down to 40mph but I landed a spit XIV and it would not stop windmilling.

I had some similar issues on another map with CVs.
Landed on a CV with an F4U-A with tail hook, tail hook caught and I came to a stop. Right after I stopped moving I was thrown off the side of the ship for no reason. It wasn't even turning, just going in a straight line.

Did you catch the wire parallel to the ship's course or were you off kilter by more than 30 degrees?

I've never used the tailhook

Did they ever fix the fling you off deck issue? If they didn't then you can't add power with the hook down. After landing, pull hook up before adding throttle...

I'm traditional. I chop throttle at the point of catching the wire. I highly recommend it. ;)

I'm not entirely sure, I don't think I have the film to double check. I will rummage around my films folder though (I think I rage deleted it after loosing the 5 kills that I worked so hard for).
