Title: New patch - can't log on
Post by: Max on January 27, 2014, 02:45:17 PM: Just did the patch download. Went to login to LWM and was dumped via "Host Connection Lost" message. Tried to log back in and got this:

Initialization Failed w-9
Main WLD_FAIL-1

Post by: hitech on January 27, 2014, 03:06:22 PM: Some how stdshape.res did not patch correctly, you may have to download the full and install it. Check if stdshape.res is writable.

Post by: jimbo71 on January 27, 2014, 03:07:22 PM: Try deleting the shortcut to the game if you have a shortcut saved to desktop. Create a new shortcut to the aceshigh.exe file.

If that doesn't work try updating your version of DirectX.

Post by: Max on January 27, 2014, 03:13:14 PM: I'm in game now. Not sure how as I deleted the game from my C: hard drive (was gonna do clean install) I may be running (dunno how) AH off my local disk (F:) version of the game. Will try and figure this out and get back.

Got it fixed, had a firewall issue that I resolved.

It looks like you don't have vsync enabled.... Frame rate is off the chart.

Correct, I do not use Vsync.

You should, vsync off will cause massive rubber bullets
