Dumb question I know, but what is the latest Windows version? Is it causing problems with AH? If so can you still get Windows 7? :uhoh
Looking at a new computer soon, want to start getting my data together.

The latest windows version is Windows 8.1 and it should not cause any sorts of problems with AH. At least Win8 worked perfectly fine when I tested it with AH2.

You can still get Windows 7. If you're building your own system, I'd recommend getting Windows 7 over 8 and if you're buying a pre-made one, most vendors will allow you to 'downgrade' to Windows 7.
Personally, as a gamer I'd stay away from Windows 8. Where I work at, most of the technical calls our support center receives with about issues with our games are by users with Windows 8, mostly hardware or driver related issues with the OS.

I have to agree with Ack-Ack. Windows 8 is for phones and tablets, and the largest growing user-base of PC users (the elderly).

The OP asked if it will cause problems with AH, not if there are existing computers that have driver problems with Win8.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I appreciate the quick response. :salute

And, speaking as a gamer, I was giving my opinion as to why he should stay away from Windows 8. Do you have a problem with that?

Officially, we recommend Windows 7 64 bit over Windows 8.
Ack ack is quite right. We get far more complaints and problems reported from Windows 8 users than Windows 7 users. Given Windows 7 occupies a much higher percentage of the systems running Aces High, it is a pretty safe bet to conclude Windows 8 is more problematic than Windows 7 is, at this point in time.
It's not bashing. It is a simple fact.
