Indeed. I too am anxious for its return!
Any bets on baby Judith? Any bets on who actually killed and burned Karen and Mike? Any thoughts on how Carol will come back in the mix? :)

you must have missed the show...Carol admitted to burning them, thats why Rick booted her....
asskicker is dead.(at least in the comics)

I love how Carol is indirectly responsible for getting Judith killed. If she hadn't tried to teach small children to use weapons, the would have done their damn job, and got Judith to the bus. Instead, the halfwits leave a baby in the middle of the road being swarmed by walkers.

I think those 2 girls are representing 2 boys in the comics...one was crazy and playing in a dead cats guts....Carl kills him....remember the dead animals they found? and they way the older girl was swirling her foot in the blood? I will bet money Carl ends up killing her....
what pissed me off was Andra is still alive in the comics and they are at like 118.....long after the prison.

No, I think you missed my question. Carol said she killed Karen and Mike, but there are many think she is covering for the little girls. The scene in the first half final episode where the little girls save Tyreese (via gunshots to Tyreese's would be killer) is not for nothing, me thinks. I'm betting it comes out that the little girls "got tough" and did to Karen and Mike what they saw Carol do to their dad. Once Tyreese learns of that it will be interesting to see how the story twists and turns.
Yeah, in the graphic novel Judith takes the same bullet as Lori. But, there are many who think that Judith is one of the few "positives" in the show and won't be killed off. I can't imagine main stream TV allowing the death of a baby, but who knows.
I'm really interested in seeing how they will deal with bringing in Negan and "Lucille" (read between the lines). People think the governor was bad....

durrrrrrr......
I completely missed the word...."actually" :o
and ya man that makes sense, obviously you have read them....I read them all, I think its great.
I hope she is dead.....I know that sounds weird right.... :O
I wish it was more inline with the comic....in a world like that a baby will not last long...they had no business bringing a kid into that world....
It bugs me they stray so far from the comics :bhead
Negan..... :O
that guy swears more than I do :rofl
-
I'm glad its not inline with the comic books; it gives the writers more creative license to make a great show (which they have done thus far). However I will say I think they hit a high point at season 3.
And a baby will last as long as its parents (or adults) protect it. The issue is that the adults got stupid, and trusted kids to do important stuff.
-
yeah another season of wondering if the governor and the rest of them will get into a real fight to settle it.

the "Govnr"
is dead....they have someone FAR more threatening then him coming up. :rock
-
I'm thinking Judith is still alive somewhere. Maybe a bit of foreshadowing there with the baby carrier full of blood for a future event. Maybe Rick being re united with the child and "coming back" from another dark place, only to be plunged right back into it with the death of the child. I'm thinking Judith is with the 2 girls somewhere wherever they ended up.
You would think they would have had an emergency plan if the prison gets overrun. A meeting place away from the prison perhaps given the tendency for things to go terribly wrong on a regular basis. Scattering to the four winds like they did during the fall of the farm seems to me like it should have taught them a lesson or two.

ink, for somebody that loves fighting as much as you do it really surprises me that you cant step back and really find out that the series started out pretty good then they went to crap and got cheese about 3 years ago. and please remember I am not talking about the book, but the tv show.

Governor's dead in the TV series as well. The black sword-lady (I don't know how to spell her name) stabs him, and the chick he was banging puts a bullet in him after that.

somethings you type I cant make out what you are saying.....it seems like it is written with English words....I mean.....I can read each word you type...taken individually...but damn when you type them out....I just....I dont know....it doesn't make sense.
like this post...
what does my enjoyment of fighting in a airplane game...have anything to do with the TV show Walking dead?
or my enjoyment of watching said TV show......
you truly baffle me sometimes.

If the rest of the season is as slow as the premiere was tonight, it is going to be a boring season.
-
That was a really good episode I thought.

It's not just you. I thought tonights episode was just fine and I'm excited about the second half.

Good cool down episode. :aok
-
I thought it was a good episode personally. Couple parts even gave me startled moments which rarely happens and doesnt happen at all if the show is too fast paced
As was mentioned on Talking dead.
Teen thinks hes badarse enough to no longer need his parent. Then realises he aint quite there yet. Parent realizes. Teen isnt just a kid anymore and a new respect is born for each of them

great show last night :rock

Yup I agree with you there. It was nice having a little back story on Michon too. Had no idea that her "pets" included the father of her child and I guess another family member.
I thought the show did drag just a bit last night but was overall pretty good. The blow up with Carl was a long time coming.
-
you bunch of honey boo boo fans...
-
doesnt rick have a mental breakdown every other show? ricks mental breakdowns is even funnier than two groups standing 50 feet away and shooting with automatic weapons and not hitting anybody. I mean the Ateam battles had more casualties.
the best part of the show is the comments I make. my gf invited some friends just for this. we had fun sunday, 4 of us turning down the volume and making out own scrip.
the funnniest comment was this girl, who yelled when rick was not waking up in the couch. "what is your sole purpose on this series", rick replying "to take a nap, sir". that nearly made me pee
semp
-
i damn near fell off the couch when Carl tried to break down that door.
-
Thought it was a boring episode and was a waste of an hour imo.
I did wish that Carl got eaten at least. Super annoying character.
-
I take it Lizzie is going to be an interesting character. :devil

SPOILERS BELOW!!!!!!!!!!
Lizzie is a freak, Carol's lessons dug a bit too deep in to her young brain. Not cool. Kills bunnies? Smother Judith? She will be interdasting to watch develop. I'm wondering if she is parallel to the boy Carl killed in the graphic novel?
It was good to see so many missing links taking care of tonight. Daryl and Beth; Tyreese, the kids, and Carol; Maggie, Sasha, and Bob; Glen and Tara; ABRAHAM AND EUGENE!!!! A good episode, no doubt!!!

I love the show, but tonight when tyrese left the girls and baby alone...for no reason except drama it disappointed me. Things HAVE to make sense, or it gets silly.
I was afraid that the little black boot belonged to the little girl with Lizzie, and was a fearin fer her. Was glad it didnt come to pass.

right...that was lame....there is a lot about the show that just wouldn't fly in a real situation like that.
I mean Daryl is cool and all...but serious...what moron is gonna carry a crossbow...and ride a Harley....
those 2 things I think are the most glaringly moronic aspects of the show.
I said before...I would live in a Ghillie suit....carry a pair of hammers and a bow....live in a tree house...have everyone on guard patrol shift,(if I was even with other people) who come and go in the trees....every one learns...everyone trains...everyone hunts... :rock

This would be a good character to add at this point.

This entire season is ramped up drama! The first episode was worse than the one from last night but it is clear the writers are slowing down the plot advancement.

judging by the previews its sociopaths vs zombies world. I have not read the books so I have no clue what is coming up. But I know Anton Chigurh would scare the zombies.

I'm as die hard a fan as any, but ever since the characters have lost their fear of the walkers, it's just not the same show. Now, bad-guy humans seem to be the main enemy. I can watch 50 other shows and see that. I just miss the first couple seasons when the walkers were what was supposed to be feared, not other people. The walkers seem to be becoming a sideshow now.

thats the way it would be.
most humans would lose any sense of humanity.
there would be no laws.....people would return to only the strong survive.

I enjoy the story line, I'm soaking every episode in as much as I can. I don't get hooked up in what some call "boring" episodes. I see The Walking Dead as a much larger story line than smashing walker heads each episode.
Episode 410 was good, but I was a bit disappointed in the dialog Abraham used. I thought the writers would have been a bit more in depth with his dialog with Glenn and Tara. The same goes for Eugene and hottie. But, we will have to wait and see how things develop. In Talking Dead, they did say that Abraham's story will be more revealed as time goes on.
Either way, I'm enjoying The Walking Dead. :aok

A Ruger 10/22 with a surpressor would be a highly sought after item for me. Be good for clearing buidlings/areas to scavenge without drawing more in.

suppressed 22 would be good, but even that, you would eventually run out of ammo and not be able to get more...and just having to carry ammo would suck.
-
all that military gear Abraham had, you would think somebody would find a bayonet eventually and quit getting rifle stocks all nasty.

Seriously? Do the directors need to show the actors poopin' too? They have to draw line somewhere. There are many other things to critique than the actors wiping/not wiping the blood off their weapons non stop.

Actually, the "science" behind the softness of the walkers has been spoken about in the graphic novel. Over time, the bones of the walkers get very soft and weak and become fragile and easily broken or crushed. So, with that in mind it wouldn't be too tasking at all. to use the butt stock of an M4 on the skull of a walker. :D
