That you would hit with the same bet TWICE!
New York native Jona Rechnitz won $25,000 on a $500 bet that a safety would be the first score of Super Bowl XLVIII.
The crazy part of this story is that, according to TMZ (http://www.tmz.com/2014/02/03/jona-rechnitz-donating-super-bowl-safety-bet-winnings-charity/), this is the second time Rechnitz has won on this type of prop bet. He hit it in 2012 when the Giants caused an intentional grounding penalty on Tom Brady for two points.

50 to one.

50 to one.
iswydt, but to hit it twice?

If you try more than 50 times... ;) Even if he only tired two times the odds of beating 50-1 odds twice in a row is only 2500-1, so someone will do it for every 2500 people who make bets. It's much harder to win the lottery...

The poor bum will win nothing else for the rest of his life.. :devil

Each try is unique as are the odds

What is not said is just how many of these high odds bets does he make and loose. I can cut all four Aces out of a deck of cards every time if given 52 chances.
