:airplane: A new member asked me recently what a "spawn" camper was, so in trying to describe one, I sent him this pic of one who took up a position and waited. I titled this pic, "Perseverance". What would you name it?

If I had to guess, I'd say a 42-47 Ford.

:airplane: Didn't these old trucks in late 30's and early 40's come with a stock "flathead" V-8?? I used to have a 54 Oldsmobile, chopped and channeled 4.5 inches, had a Lincoln "Zipper" transmission, running 2 "four Barrel Strongeburg-carlson carbs, dual smitty mufflers and all interior lights were "red". Had a special tag made for front bumper which read "Lady Cruiser"....used to have lots of pics, but lost everything in house fire in 86.
