"My jaw dropped. My dream of being a fighter pilot could be lived through a computer."

I felt this way, too, when I first saw my first multiplayer air-combat sim (Air Warrior in 1988).  I couldn't believe my good fortune.

Now we have Aces High, which is amazingly advanced compared to those days.

Affected?

You're kidding, right?   :O

I think Falcon does more in the morning before he finishes his morning coffee than I do all day long.

Great interview!  Inspires me to actually go do something, today.

Thanks  :aok

Are you still into modding TK's games? If so, what are you working on?

Btw. for casual single player jet action I think the SF series is the best out there. My personal favorite is Wings over Israel.

I was planning to do a updated HDR mod for DX10 with the SweetFX software but the cancer threw a wrench in that. Once I get this cancer beat I'll do the mod. And I got asked to do some beta testing on few SF2 projects after I get my strength back.

IMHO SF2 has the best dogfighting AI out there. Oh if you got SF2, download Ravenclaws HIRES Weapon models with better performance data (ie no uber weaponry) at Combatace.com

Yeah, SF2 could do with a gfx update. I was a bit dismayed when TK shifted the development to mobile device games, but the man's got to eat I guess...  Get well soon and make my game pretty!  :aok
