Title: Titanfall
Post by: Schen on March 01, 2014, 12:40:53 PM
I won't lie it has been sometime since I was genuinely excited for a new game. I have been playing FPS  since I was a kid, started out on Ps2 with socom navy seals. Moved threw unreal tournament,  all the cod games. My abilities would rank above average and I must say this game breathes fresh air to the genre. The mobility, balance in weapons and gameplay and even the integration of AI into the battlefield is insane. I was holding out on getting an xbox 1 ( I am a consol gamer ussually AH is the exception). Thou with the release of this game I pre ordered a titanfall bundle and cant wait till march 11. Would like to hear others oponions especially if u played the beta.

I'll never pre-order anything from AE again. I'll probably never "order" anything from them again.

Been playing in the beta when it's been up.  I haven't had this much fun playing an online shooter since playing Day of Defeat, will probably pick this up when it's released for the PC.

ack-ack

Although it's mostly just another generic AAA shooter...as an old school Tribes player i am kind of attracted by the movement possibilities in this game...

Will pick it up for PC

Im probably going to buy this game cause my boy is as well and gaming together as a team is a big way we keep in touch "He's currently serving at a USAF base".

I'd kinda like to know what exactly im ordering? Is it a FPS? Like BF4? How many players on a server? The same kinda game play type? Is it scripted or multi-player mostly? It looks like futuristic stuff, kinda like Planetside...yes? Whats the skinny on this game? Thanks.

Oh and how much 'puter will one need?

was impressed that they seem to have done the LMG justice. Most games that have LMG's just make them a heavy gun with a deep ammo bucket, but no real accuracy and pittiful knock down power. I will probably wait until I can pick up a used copy for a little cheeper than new, but I'm looking forward to it.
