I have noticed that planes that the prop turns counter cloclwise tend to roll to the left. Shouldn't they roll to the right? :headscratch:
-
Pilot or from front on perspective?

Does it make a difference? Torque should roll the plane teh opposite direction of the prop rotation.

He made reference to counterclockwise.
That means there is a point of view.

The Corsair, for instance, tends to roll to the left, because the prop is rotating clockwise from the pilots point of view. The plane wants to torque in the opposite direction. So planes with the prop rotating counter clockwise, from the pilots point of view, should torque to the right. The difference it makes for planes with counter clockwise props is it easier for them to turn to the right. Also, when you're flying with out auto pilot, the plane will tend to roll to the right. No big deal, but it's more realistic. It's not only the right thing to do, it's the law.

Name a specific plane that seems to rotate incorrectly, so we can check it out.

Make sure you have combat trim off and the trim tabs centered to be sure it's not just the auto trim over compensating for you
