There doesnt have to be a war for children to be mistreated. I would hope anyone suspecting the mistreatment of a child would call 911.

That.. Didn't really pertain to the video at all, but ok..
the video was showing a child's life growing up during a war, not even close to at home child abuse.. but... I guess.. it could be perceived as the same... thing... ?? :headscratch: :huh

Don't know much about that charity but most likely less than 10% of the proceeds from that "advertisement" video will go to those in need. Non profits are big business.

Save The Children was founded after WWI in Britain and has grown to an international foundation. According to them (and they are independently audited) in 2012 they spend 89% of their funds on their programs. 5% is spent on administration. The rest is spent on ads (like this one) and other fundraising activities.

OMG I wish I wouldn't have watched that...for some reason I think there is dust in here...I tell y'all this just thank whatever you believe in that you and your children sleep safe in your beds...maybe you should thank a armed services member too....

:old: Normally I don't bother wasting time expressing my opinion (everyone has at least 2, and like armpits they sometimes stink) however here's one of mine. If this country doesn't get off it's azz, and flex some muscle soon, we will certainly get our butt handed to us by some other country. , "might IS right" "walk softly and carry a BIG stick, and don't be afraid to use it!", etc, etc. :mad: :old:

We have cities that resemble war zones. Here in 'murica. Cant do much about the rest of the world but we can do something here. Aw maybe im not making sense. "Sensibility" gets lost on me when kids suffer, for any reason. I guess Ive seen to many with bullet holes in them lying on the street. A kid doesnt have to grow up in Iraq to be traumatized by street violence.
I get teachers who tell me they sleep in class cause the gun fire keeps them up at night. But maybe if you give me another :headscratch: :huh I'll figure out what your talking about.
