I know that many of you guys here have probably dealt with some issues in life and some are far worse than mine, but I'd like to ask for some prayers. My girlfriend has to go in for a screening at the doctors tomorrow to see if she has stomach cancer and right now i'm scared crapless. I'm not a religious man but right now we could use all the help we can get.
Hopefully it's nothing too serious.

In my thoughts Skorp.

Hey Skorp, we'll add a prayer for her.
One note, the research is without question, prayers infact work. Harvard, Yale, UofChicago, Stanford, etc have over the years studied it and without a question it works. This does not mean that [blank] religion is true, just that prayer works. This means that while you are not a religious person (your words) don't hesitate to pray yourself. If you don't believe me Google it.
Again, we'll add this to our prayer.

Am a Christian man but many times don't act it, I will pray for both of you if that is ok with you skorp..........

I am a Christian but not a very good one best I figure. But one thing I do know from my life experiences is that sometimes God knocks you on your back to make you look up.
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. - 2 Corinthians 4:3-9

I supported my wife when she had breast cancer 10 years ago. She is now supporting me as I fight malignant melanoma. Best advice I can give is never anticipate the worse. If the tests are negitive you've put yourself, and her, through hell for nothing. If the results are not so good then that is the time to deal with the situation. If you need information ask the doctor for websites he would recommend. When it come to cancer there is a lot of bad information out there. Until you have recommended websites my advice is to stay off the internet.
Good luck to both of you. Do something very special today. Treat her to a day she won't soon forget. And like everyone else I :pray for her.

Stay a positive strong supporter. My Wife had a bump behind her knee and we went to the doctor just yesterday. My wife was very nervous as she has history of cancer in her family. Well it turned out fine, it was just a benign cist and after a shot she was on her way.
Hope it turns out well for you also. :pray
