Title: Random Re-Arm pads
Post by: seano on March 14, 2014, 02:50:01 AM
randomly scattered around the map. small airstrips or farm fields where approach and takeoff have to be perfect. put hedges around it. also make them capturable but don't have them show up on the clipboard map as which country controls them.

WEEEWWW!

I'd love trying to land B-29s on one.

But,

This is a terrible idea.

Sorry mate.  :(

I wouldn't mind seeing a variation on this. Emergency landing strips where you can set down a damaged aircraft or re-arm but not spawn a fresh bird.

Then you might as well allow gv's resupply planes too  :rofl

My wish is quite reasonable compared to the magical insta-repair boxes of supplies that GVers get. I'm not even asking for aircraft repair, just an undefended emergency airstrip.

Now let's wait before we start the ol 'He's a witch and turned me into a newt!' mob mentality...

A few randomly placed re-arm pads would give a interesting opportunity to camping.  Sorta like sniping at a watering hole.

You can have your storches go find them, mark them, and vector in the native forces..

Then the enemy can send in fighters to dispense with the storches..

Then the natives can call in storch escort fighters...

Pretty soon, there's massive annihilation and B29s are pounding HQs all over the place..

 :D

I still support it.

 yeah how about unarmed pads aswell. make them invisible too. rolling along and then lose all gas and ammo, then roll off the pad and boom your dead.  :aok

ok picture this, this dr guy--you know who--finds a rearm pad in the battle area-thats it! done game over--he will land 1000 kills..because he found a rearm pad-and rearms himself....i've seen him land 150 just because people kept resuppling him.....rearm pads=high perk point's=stronger tanks=endless tank battles.

+1 on this idea. Would be great for a bomber trying to make it back with multiple fuel tank leaks. Refuel and hope you have enough fuel to get back to a friendly base
