I'm sorry for the tragedies, losing friends and family members is no fun. No, it certainly is not normal to be hit so hard. May God Bless.

Everything passes Hawker. Grieving is part of healing. Hang in there.

hard to read, very sad. You take care of yourself man.

Sorry to hear of your losses. A wise man once told me I needed to learn to cry, he said if I can not, then I can not grieve and go on.
If this doesn't apply to you (not being able to cry for loss) then you know you'll be in good shape with time. Wishing you strength.

Does it never squealing (sorry ht ban me if you wish) STOP.....just found out another close friend was found dead today after battling cancer and thought he won. Guess when you get older you lose more people near and dear to you. Hug you family and friends cuz you just never know. RIP Will.....love ya bro :salute

Someone once asked is it easier to go first or have to watch the others go before you?
Stay strong for the family. My Wife lost her Mother recently and I lost a good friend also. It's tough but I need to be the stabil force to help others through it. Rejoice in the fact they lived life and you were there to live it with them. Like you said hug those close to you a little tighter and enjoy everyday pushing the BS aside.
Prayers for loved ones passed. :pray Slate

Gotta keep your head up Hawker, I know it's tough losing someone you love. I had a friend die in a pretty bad car accident last year, and it seems like just yesterday I was talking with her and us screwing around in my math class.
What I found helps is just listening to music, but that might be different for you. For me it drowns out the rest of the world and I don't have to focus on whatever it is that's f**king me in the back of the mind.

Speaking of not normal, a healthy 21 year old girl died in her sleep last week. Autopsy did not find a cause of death and as far as I know the family still doesn't know what happened. All we do know is that she came to spend the night at her grandparents (even stayed up talking to them like normal before bedtime). By mid-morning the next day they could not wake her up.
