The passenger doesn't rate a roll bar, 007 ... but they do get an ejection seat.

I had just back to my car - about 150 meters away - when the driver fired that thing up.  It sounded sweet.

Nicely done car.

Those seat belts are either 4 point or 5 point racing harnesses.

Looks like it is also fitted for the hard or soft top option.

It's a mini AC Cobra drive in today.  Six Cobra (replica) drivers came in to have lunch and chat.  I snapped some pics with my phone.  Skuzzy will appreciate these!

Note the touch screen navi unit.  This car is the most beautiful of the 6 Cobras (IMO)

And here is the muscle car I would love to have: early Mustang GT Fast Back.  This car is not a factory original; it has a 5 speed transmission but it does have the original 289.

Have no idea what this is but it sounded mean as hell.

And here is a couple of pics of grocery-getters that I would'nt mind having :rock Just need to win the lottery and talk the wife into it :D

The car you did not recognize is a TVR Tuscan

I didn't like the red one. It looked like it had a problem and was bent in the middle with it's butt sticking up in the air. That just didn't look right.

The car you couldn't identify, the one that, "sounded mean as hell," is a TVR Tuscan Speed 6.

I didn't like the red one. It looked like it had a problem and was bent in the middle with it's butt sticking up in the air. That just didn't look right.

Looks like a Factory Five Mk III (it may not be one).  We call that the "bumble bee butt".  It plagued the Mk III.  They finally fixed it with the Mk IV.

The owner appears to have installed a custom roll bar, which is too narrow and short and without vertical support of any kind.

The hood scoop is also custom made.

The gas cap is in the wrong place.  I would not want to fill that car.

The dash layout i snot my favorite.  Placing those gauges, where there could be a glove box makes them too difficult to do a quick read.

Personally, I am all for an owner doing whatever they want to make their car, their own as long as safety comes first.  I would not ride in that car with that roll bar.

Always nice to see a collection of Cobras.  By the way, I will also eschew duplicating the original in favor of a safer and more comfortable ride.
