Title: RIP Brogy

I am very saddened to report to you that Mark "Brogy" Brogan passed away on March 15Th, as a result of injuries sustained in a March 10Th auto accident, while returning home from work. He was 60 years old and was employed as a Systems Administrator. A memorial was held on March 22ND.

Mark was travelling southbound on Highway 62, near Palm Springs, Ca.,when the crash between his Mini Cooper and a Dodge pickup truck occurred. Mark leaves behind his wife and two daughters. Our thoughts, prayers and condolences go to the entire Brogan family. Mark will be sincerely missed by all of us who have had the pleasure to know him as a friend and squaddie. His positive attitude, infectious laugh and his love for aviation were his trademark. He was a proud veteran of The US Navy and was a treasure trove of WW2 history. Tailwinds Mark! You will be sorely missed.

There is a website "Help Mark Brogan's Family" hosted by "GoFundMe.com" with the goal of raising money for Mark's family. You can do a search and get the details. Mark was a great guy and any support would be appreciated.

in the ten years he was my squaddie I never saw brogy say a bad word about anyone. Truly one of the cool cats.

Brogy was always enjoyable to fly with as knights and share the same in-game airspace...

It had been a good bit of time past, since I had the privilege to fly along with him in-game but those wonderful exciting fun memories will always be there!

I could not make the memorial flight
As a squaddie i was gutted not to be there
..but have just watched the film of it and I was moved....

Mate, I know how you feel. Being 300 miles away from my computer never has been harder.

Whenever these things happen people always say 'oh he was such a good bloke' and that is the right way of things. But with Brogy it is not even the slightest bit fanciful. I truly cannot think of one bad thing to say about him even in my own head. He was just so damn cool without a trace of conceit.
