The 71 "Eagle" Squadron RAF will be hosting a memorial flight for Brogy on Saturday, April 5Th at 4PM Eastern, in the Main Arena. Players from all countries are invited to participate in this "guns cold" tribute to our friend and squaddie Mark Brogan who died, tragically, on March 15Th. We will be flying F4U-1A's to honor Brogy's service in the US Navy. Vox channel is 171. Hope to see many of you participating in this tribute to a great guy. :salute

Thank you to everyone who joined the flight and those of you who paid attention and let us be. There were a couple of notable exceptions, one of whom made the statement, "I don't care".
That will be remembered, as will the chap from a different country who dealt with the issue superbly.

Who was that chap? I saw one bragging he shot down 18 in the memorial flight. Same guy I'm thinking of?

Whoever the perp was should be banned.

Let me clarify; he was probably a bishop. He attacked my squad when we launched from 22 to rendezvous with the larger bishop group. I asked him to leave us be as our intentions were "diplomatic in nature". He harasses us anyway and after he vulched us a few times, I dispatched him accordingly. He upped again and gave chase at the rendezvous field when another enemy Spitfire shat him down.

For the most part, the flight went unharrassed.
<S> all who attended.
