IMO 8.1 is a little easier to work with. Although teaching the average Joes to use keyboard shortcuts as the easiest way for basic tasks seems like stone age. Or is it Microsoft's secret plan to provide us consumer level techies jobs?

The next version will bring the start menu back, MS already showcased it at an expo. Untill that you can simply install classic shell and Win8 works just like 7.

Will the drivers work?  Im about to pull the trigger on a Win8 machine, but am concerned that (from what ive read elsewhere) that guys are having problems finding Saitek drivers for Win8.... :headscratch:

Some of the drivers will also work but there's no guarantee on anything. IIRC some other poster here tried Win7 Saitek drivers and they worked on Win8.
