Best race in well over three years. Well done Petronis and Lewis. :rock

Yep, great race. I just can't get used to the F1 cars sounding like Buicks with glass packs..... ;)

Was a good race. First time we've seen the true pace of Mercedes... 2 seconds a lap faster... while fighting for position... Nico could have been 3+ sec a lap faster on the options without Lewis defending in front of him... :O
Although my favorite thing so far this season has been all the off track whining from Red Bull guys (Horner, Newey, Mateshitz) and threatening to leave the sport over the new Formula. Funny how none of the Mercedes powered teams are complaining. :lol :lol Reminds of a spoiled child throwing a temper tantrum the first time things don't go their way.

They pave more for the run offs than the track. looks a bit odd but if it saves lives, so be it.

What about that Lotus driver trying to prove that he can make another F1 car fly! Scary accident. :O

Maldanado has been dangerous ever since he entered F1. He's caused so many crashes I've lost count. Only reason Lotus signed him is for all the PDVSA money he brings with him. His teammate Grosjean isn't much better, he was banned for a race last year for causing a wreck which nearly decapitated Alonso. Lotus basically has the crash brothers this season, good thing their car is terrible.

I could make the argument that gravel traps are just as safe (or even safer) and also make it a lot more challenging for the drivers. These endless run-off areas at the newer tracks just make it easier for driver to push the track boundaries.

Never mind that 4 wheeled tedium, MotoGP this weekend :old: :D
