Title: Tank Town - OZkansas
Post by: Chalenge on April 09, 2014, 09:32:23 PM
Please make the airfields uncapturable in the center of the map. It really gets old waiting for this one map to cycle through only to have one team constantly take the entire area. We simplay cannot stay online 24/7 to defend it and it is a pretty poor map otherwise.

+1 I agree, make all tank towns uncapturable on all maps. Not all VH's just the tank towns.

:huh---uhh NO --you start making things uncaptureable---it will take longer to win map .besides airfields are supposed to get captured just like gv base's. :joystick:

There are 300 other fields on the map which are all just as easy to capture.

Because, whether you like it or not, this is where the fights are. Anywhere else on the map it's all about field captures.

I understand where you are coming from. The whole concept of taking TT is to 'force' tank town combatants to work for the field capture effort. It doesn't work that way.

well i do believe so--if you can't take the airfields--then a person can continualy bomb the gv's..in tank town. or so no one country can own tank town-like the bish and rooks like to do

+1  Since I have returned to game recently, I have noticed fewer opportunities of broad ground vehicle battles.  With the exception of Dr7, I have noticed fewer names that I recognize that rolled armor consistently.... maybe this is one reason.

I have noticed a couple of V guys that come out and support Vehicle bases   That is reminiscent of the LTars and what they did to ramp up the volume of traffic on the ground.

You can simply take down the ordnance at the airfields to keep planes from bombing GVs, even if just for a few minutes.  Also, leaving the airfields uncapturable gives every country the chance to take their Vbases back after the off-hours crew has come in and taken them all for one country.  That's why I believe it's a good idea.

So since you know all the ins and outs of HTC, what else can you tell us?
What argument? I don't see much contradictory going on in this thread.
