No perks for the guys that bail in there bombers after they drop, make it if you bail you lose 50 perks if it's a non perk bomber.

Lose 50 points for bailing from a bomber after bombs out? Sounds crazy, how would the system even know if this player bailed to avoid being killed by other players? What if the bomber was on fire or lost a wing due to attacking fighters right after bombing?
I don't think it's too big a problem for such a consequence to those players. Yet, is it even a real problem?

I just took of in my Lancasters, and as I'm passing the town I see a horde of Panzers shelling it, and a pair of M3s waiting. I'm gonna bail and up an A-20G or Il-2, should I lose perks? No.
It's interesting that you just want bomber pilots to suffer the perk penalty. Shouldn't fighter pilots receive the same treatment? I've seen plenty of guys bail out as soon as they see a high 190 closing up on them.

No, I don't want to have bomber pilots lose perks for bailing, but there is certainly no comparison between fighter who bail and bombers who bail. There aren't really that many buff pilots that bail anyway, but it is a very rare sight for me to see a fighter pilot bail without damage.

Yet the system is able to discern you landing a plane with intact stabilisers but no elevators and give you an acheivement for it? Think it is emminently possoble to tell whether the guy bailed because he was a wingless Lancaster sausage or a twerp who thinks it's funny to piss people off who have chased his sorry arse for miles :bhead

Good point, so then let's say it can tell if players are bailing from undamaged bombers.
But I don't think it would be able to detect this.
a twerp who thinks it's funny to piss people off who have chased his sorry arse for miles
Like I've said, this isn't a real problem, just forget about it.

same goes for the fighters that tuck tail and run from bombers

How about no points of any type other than when you "Land" alive.

Why, yes, yes you should. (So when people see only a high 190 they bail? Why is that? Do they somehow think or know it's you and get scured?)
Who cares, all these yahoos bailing for what ever reason from any intact aircraft should take a hit somehow whether it's because they are scared of being shot down, want to deny someone a kill or just want to game the game by jumping into something else per your example of lameness. Just my 2 cents, but it doesn't matter, because it is just as meaningless as yours and everyone elses. Blame inflation. There will never be a way for them to figure intent, so it won't be "fixed".
-
Why don't you all just set up a thread dedicated to keeping tabs on bailers. Save the recording and post it on here for everyone to see.

I didn't suggest that. I rarely fly fighters, but yes, I've seen fighters bailing when a 190 is zooming on them (or 47 for that matter).
-
So... will it make you feel better when they auger instead to avoid you shooting them down? Or rip a wing, then bail?
Wiley.

it's not a big enough of a problem that a player should lose any perks---nobody made you chase them for miles.
how would you like to be charged perks for not landing any kills???-just another senseless wish. and not all bomber pilots bail before or after drop..they rather shoot you down

:furious
this is just another wish in a long line of wishes from people who want to change something for there own benefit.....
IT'S NOT FAIR TO PUNISH PEOPLE FOR PLAYING THIS GAME THE WAY THEY WANT -GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!

I won't enforce it. But know this.
Bomber & Bailer: Little girl with no testicles
Bomber pilot who lands: A man who knows how to fly it correctly and cares to defend his plane at all costs

I've had awesome gunship runs with 5+ kills in my 17s. A lot of the time when I fly into a furball, I get some kills, but the survival rate for me is about 30%.
I nearly never fly out alive. And to tell me that my fallen bombs and interceptor craft brought to doom should receive no reward? Pff...

This does not necessarily support your position.
Little girls with testicles...I just threw up in my mouth a little...

Why would you lose perks if you just took off and haven't dropped any bombs? If you haven't attacked anything you haven't earned any perks.

Good logic on your side. :)
