OK fellows we tried. Honky was a slang word for a Ukranian person, were I lived, WPG. Can. Dory is a Sailing Vessal.
SO-- Honky Dory ment a Ukrainiun Sailing Vessal. All the explainations submitted are great. :banana:

  Actually Bohunk is the term,may not be correct spelling and it certainly could be shortened to honky,however I'm married to a Puke,Polish/Ukranian.... Should have seen the looks when I happened to mention that at the dinner table..... :devil
