Note the tank in the photo.

It actually says Leopard 2 tanks, not Tigers. :old:
-
The Saudis would only drive them too quickly and wreck them in rollovers, anyway.
That or have them shipped to London during Ramadan, double-park them everywhere.

A picture is worth a thousand words. :old:

That is a lot of tanks. What are the Saudis worried about?

The Swiss have always supported anyone with cash money. They have never cared where or how it was obtained, which is why there is still suspected to be gold melted from holocaust victims in the Swiss vaults.

Red Shield?

It is a sharp looking Tiger 1 for sure.

The Dutch claim 60.000 kg's of it.
News got out they won't pursue as it might be too hard to prove.....
60.000 kg's :bhead :bhead :bhead

Funny! Thanks for posting.

Jerry is probably promising the Saudis a load of modern leopards but is, in fact, planning on duping them with new build 3/4 scale Tiger Is. They reckon they'll never know the difference. :old:
On an interesting note. The Saudis approached us last year and are interested in 200-400 new build M2A2 ODS-SA Bradleys. They have been dragging their feet on the deal quite a bit though. :headscratch:

There would be only one local rival against which they'd be arming - and its not to the west.
-

Iran.....
-
Iran.....
And perhaps soon again Iraq... although with the AQ now mounted there their combat methods may make the tanks totally useless.

:rofl
Gibberish
-
That tank looks pretty fragile to a modern tank...
-

Of course, it would be Iran. Still I wonder what the real reason is behind this because the Saudis are already Germany's biggest arms buyer, buying fully 1/4'th of Germany's arms exports.

:rofl
Gibberish
Gibberish? Rubbish. Tell us, oh solon of the ME, what then? THere is no other regional power against which such a force would be needed. Perhaps this is just some fabricated story to stir the proverbial crock o'..? Nah - independently verified. Don't be surprised if they buy nukes, either. This is a little Sunni-on-Shia fun.

Yup they already have the Chinese IRBMs waiting for their new nukes, probably of Paki-Chinese-NK design. They are just waiting for Iran to pull the pin and then we'll have Holocaust version 27 loading up in the Matrix. Or is it 127? There have been so many slaughters in History I forget.

Well, if it happens, I hope the damage is regionally limited. Ideally, some of our petrol producers can get on site quickly to reinstall the necessary capital and to do some unfettered test drilling through the layers of glass. After all, there's little reason the rest of us should suffer disruption as a result of their old blood feuds.
