I need that for AH

What a waste to play it in 3rd person view with a motion pit like that. Someone should have grabbed that guy and kicked him the balls for such stupidity.
ack-ack

Tell 'em to grow some nards and stop playing a children's game :)

gimme gimme gimme gimme!!!! :O

That kind of motion cockpit is a total gimmick. How do they model pulling inverted g's?
-
I enjoyed getting dropped on my head repeatedly while young, this thing can't replicate that so it must be a piece of crap.

If I had the $ I'd be all up in that. :joystick:
Since I don't have the $ I'm not asking the price. :noid

The bigger waste is that he's playing War Thunder with it in the first place. It's the Flappy Bird of combat sims.

I don't think that one does, it just mimics your plane's attitude. I imagine that a device modeling Gs would tilt you on your back for positive Gs and head-down for negative Gs.
But one of our military or airline pilots here probably knows.

Can't really see how a device could do anything like that on Earth. No matter what it does, you're either only able to get 1G pointed some direction depending on your orientation, or you'd get a bunch of acceleration that had nothing to do with the game as the centrifuge sped up.

I'm a bit dense and can't understand the difference between hanging upside down from my harness and pulling g's inverted

Yes exactly and thats why its just a gimmick. It gives a totally false sensory input when you go upside down.

They don't. The "sim" is attached to the floor and under a positive one G. Can't get there from here. :salute

I would be the non-PC adult threatening the line of kids and throwing that kid out of that thing so I could play :devil

I want one.....but I've no idea where I'm going to put the ash tray.

My main concern would be the gyroscopic beverage holder.

Any Finn would nickname that thing 'barfball' for sure. That thing looks fun after having your 14th beer.
