Title: reverse speed

wish for a faster reverse speed in gv's :joystick:

I can't comment on the realism of the speed in reverse in GVs (other than it does seem too slow); but the return of the manual transmission would be cool, at least as an option in preferences  :salute

yep-- i was setting in the middle of a field between the base and ene spawn--with 3 ene tanks shooting at me,right,middle,left.could not back up fast enough to get nearby trees.need faster reverse

I'm certain that the reverse gear in tanks was a very low range gear.

I spent many a year in tanks though, candidly, I have no freaking idea how fast they go in reverse. A good tanker almost never uses that woosified gear.  :banana:

i is a good tanker--3v1 and bad guys behind cover kinda hard to hit them fast
