Title: Logitech Extreme 3DPro question
Post by: mthrockmor on April 16, 2014, 03:57:18 PM
My stick is getting a bit old, with extra play that is beginning to effect aim significantly. I understand that it is safe to pull open some sticks, once inside you can adjust screws, etc. Is this stick one of those?

I ask before it gets too late and I find out the hard way it isn't.

Thanks in advance!

It has a cheap plastic gimble,I dont think you can fix it but it should be easy enough to open up and take a look!  I have an old 1 that I removed the gimble from, the pots were shot but all the buttons functioned so I cut the handle just below the trigure and remounted it to the base.

I now use it as a controller and map things to it,the stick doesnt move but thats what I wanted.

I use an old stick base too. I just removed the stick altogether. the base buttons are mapped, and I use the extra throttle to adjust rpm (instead of +/-).
