Title: Dive Bombing
Post by: Someguy63 on April 17, 2014, 10:18:54 PM
Just about every dive bomber in this game has more than 1 type of bomb that can be carried at once, both in the centerline and under each wing. During a dive, when I wish to drop them all my ords at once, I have to quickly switch between bomb types, then realign myself a bit to make sure my bombs will mark its target, in about two seconds. This isn't an easy task, nor am I saying it's extremely hard, but it can definitely be made easier.

It would be nice if I could enter in .salvo all or something to drop everything that I have on my aircraft to avoid having to make that switch.

 :salute Have at it.

Are you posting this because we killed an entire fleet with Vals and stukas...   :devil

I would like to see all the dive bombers' interiors remodeled first, but I agree with this, but I can easly do this since I dive bomb a lot.

Like on a 47 was dropping all three bombs easily done during WW2?  Was  selection a mechanical or electrical?

You set the switches for the 3 positions and then push one button.

I don't think HTC would want to change this with a salvo command. It would be better to keep salvo as is and just add a "release all weapons" command.

Thanks FLS.

Can't think of a use for drop all on the P47 but it would still be nice to have just in case.  The A20 could use it now that I think about its mountings.

But on a serious note +1, since it's harder for a mouse flier, where I have it set with in easy reach on my joystick.

+1 FLS  :aok
I knew the .salvo all wasn't really good as it is, I was waiting for someone to suggest something else. :)
